Everything you need to know about working with Sima Global Advisory Ltd — our services, pricing, and how we engage with clients.

About Our Services
A fractional CFO provides the same strategic financial leadership as a full-time CFO, but on a part-time or project basis. They typically work with your business for one to four days per month, embedded in your leadership team. This gives growth-stage businesses access to board-level financial expertise at 20–30% of the cost of a full-time hire — typically £2,500–£5,000 per month versus £120,000–£180,000 per year in salary and benefits.
We provide fractional CFO leadership, fully managed payroll, management accounts, cash flow forecasting, investor readiness preparation, board pack production, HMRC compliance, cross-border financial advisory, and due diligence support. Our services are designed to provide the complete financial infrastructure that growth-stage organisations need without the overhead of a full in-house finance department.
Our clients are typically growth-stage businesses with annual revenues of £500K to £20M. This includes UK-based companies expanding internationally, founder-led businesses approaching their first institutional funding round, and organisations operating across multiple jurisdictions in the UK, Africa, and the Middle East.
Yes. We have significant experience working with NGOs, charities, and social enterprises. Financial management in the non-profit sector has distinct requirements — including restricted fund accounting, donor reporting, and regulatory compliance — and we have the expertise to support organisations in this sector.
Pricing & Engagement
Our Essentials package starts from £1,500 per month and covers monthly management accounts, payroll management, and basic advisory. Our Growth package, which includes fractional CFO leadership, investor readiness support, and cash flow forecasting, starts from £3,500 per month. Enterprise engagements are scoped individually. All engagements begin with a complimentary CFO Readiness Audit.
Most of our engagements run on a three-month minimum basis, after which they roll monthly. We believe in demonstrating value quickly — most clients see measurable improvements in their financial reporting and decision-making within the first 30 days. We do not lock clients into lengthy contracts.
The first step is a complimentary CFO Readiness Audit — a 15-minute diagnostic that identifies the key financial gaps in your business and produces a personalised action plan within 48 hours. From there, we will recommend the most appropriate engagement structure for your needs. You can request your audit using the form on our website or by booking a discovery call.
Cross-Border & International
Yes. We have specialist expertise in UK-Africa financial advisory, including cross-border payroll, transfer pricing, permanent establishment risk, and multi-currency reporting. We work with businesses operating across South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Ghana, and other African markets.
Yes. We manage PAYE, VAT, corporation tax preparation, and Making Tax Digital compliance for our clients. We work alongside your appointed accountants or can recommend trusted accountancy firms where required. Our focus is ensuring that your tax obligations are managed proactively — not reactively.
The CFO Readiness Audit is a complimentary diagnostic that assesses five key areas of financial health: management reporting quality, cash flow visibility, payroll and compliance status, investor readiness, and financial systems infrastructure. Based on your responses, we produce a personalised action plan identifying your most critical gaps and the steps needed to address them. The audit is free and carries no obligation.
